Sveti Petar u šumi is a place in central Istria where the population has been engaged in agriculture for centuries, and they are also known for their tradition of turkey farming. Unfortunately, there are not many wineries in this area, in fact, only the "garage" winery "In Sylvis," which means "in the forest" in Latin.

This winery was founded in 2014 by the spouses Lara and Marko Zgrablić, both trained wine experts from the University of Poreč Faculty of Viticulture. Before opening their own winery, Marko gained several years of experience working in several eminent Istrian wineries. Today, they cultivate four hectares of vineyards on meager red soil in the vicinity of Sveti Petar, with Malvasia Istriana, Teran, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon being their grape varieties. They offer seven labels of wine on the market and have already received numerous domestic and international awards for their wines.

In the central part of the village, they have a "garage" winery, and a few hundred meters away is a modernly equipped tasting room that is open all year round. In the tasting room, they offer various options for pairing their wines with local cured meat specialties, as well as serious wine and gastronomic experiences such as customized dinners.
