Gen V

GEN V – Generation Vinistra brings together a new generation of Istrian winemakers who are taking over their family wineries and continuing the region’s winemaking tradition. Established in 2026 as part of the Vinistra Association, the initiative brings together young winemakers in their twenties and thirties, giving them space to develop their own ideas, styles and vision for the future of Istrian winemaking.

The group brings together around 40 young winemakers and wine enthusiasts who meet regularly to exchange experiences, taste wines and collectively explore the future of Istrian winemaking.

One of GEN V’s main goals is to further promote Istria, its terroir and distinctive climate, and to highlight the region’s potential on both the domestic and international wine scene.
