Alongside the company Gracijano Rudan opened his own winery! 

Rudan d.o.o. is a leading Croatian company in energy efficiency, specializing in business strategies and developing energy projects throughout Croatia. Since 2016, they have expanded into the tourism sector and now manage several hotels along the coast and in continental Croatia. A natural extension of this growth has been the opening of a small boutique winery in the hamlet of Fabci near Višnjan.

The company was founded in 1994 by Gracijano Rudan, who himself comes from a family that has cultivated vineyards and made wine for personal use for generations. Opening his own winery was a long-held dream, a story that resonates with similar examples in the business world.

Today, they have one hectare of vineyards planted on red soil, featuring Istrian Malvasia and Merlot as their primary varieties. Annual production is between 6,000 and 7,000 bottles, most of which are offered in their own hotels. Plans for the future include expanding the cellar, increasing vineyard holdings to five hectares, and planting additional grape varieties typical of the Istrian climate, such as Teran and Cabernet Sauvignon.
