Weekend was marked by the 31st Vinistra, attended by more than 10,000 wine lovers

The Vinistra Association and its members once again delivered perfection, confirming their leading role on Croatia’s wine scene

This past weekend was marked by Vinistra, the longest-running and most attractive wine exhibition in the region. Over 10,000 visitors enjoyed its 31st edition over three vibrant days.

Istrian winemakers once again impressed with a wide range of Malvasia styles – from sparkling and fresh to aged and even those matured in amphorae. The powerful Teran wines once again proved to be a variety of exceptional potential and complexity, with wine professionals agreeing they can stand shoulder to shoulder with the best wines from world-renowned regions.

Beyond the rich selection of wines, many visitors booked accommodation in Poreč for the entire weekend. The Family Day on Sunday turned out to be a complete success – while children had fun in creative workshops with entertainers, parents had the chance to enjoy the exhibition, which now also boasts a world-class look thanks to the new concept introduced last year.

“The central Wine Shop, offering Istrian wines at promotional prices, was a great idea, allowing exhibitors to fully focus on the visitors. I was also impressed by the modern look of the exhibition with unified and open booths,” commented visitor Mario Volarević.

Numerous workshops, familiar faces, and great energy marked the 31st edition of Vinistra, an event that continues to captivate the wine world year after year.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank all members of our association and the Vinistra team for another job well done, as well as all our visitors who continue to recognize and support this beautiful Istrian wine story. A big thank-you also goes to our sponsors and partners who stand by us in our work,” said Luka Rossi, President of Vinistra – the Association of Winegrowers and Winemakers of Istria, announcing the date of the next Vinistra: See you next year in Poreč, from May 8 to 10!

We can't wait!
