At an exclusive wine event in London on November 16, more than a thousand wines from the most famous wine regions will be presented, including 16 wines from Istria

Everything is set for Vinistra's first appearance at London’s wine event of the year. In collaboration with the Istria County Tourist Board, on November 16, Vinistra will showcase our most renowned wine region at the prestigious Decanter Fine Wine Encounter, featuring 16 award-winning Istrian wines.

At London’s Landmark Hotel, Istria region will be represented among more than a thousand premium wines with: Veralda Xtrian Brut Rosé, 2019; Agrolaguna Festigia Rosé, 2023; Rossi Malvazija Istarska, 2023; Cattunar 4 Terre Malvazija, 2023; Medea Montiron, 2022; OMO Malvazija Istarska, 2022; Kabola Malvazija Unica, 2021; Pilato Malvazija Sur Lie, 2020; Matošević Alba Robinia Riserva, 2020; Ipša Malvazija, 2020; Kozlović Teran, 2022; Cuj Teran, 2021; Fakin Il Primo Teran, 2020; Damjanić Clemente, 2019; Prelac Muškat Momjanski, 2023; and Benvenuti San Salvatore, 2019.

Promoting Istrian authenticity and passion

This renowned wine event organized by Decanter magazine offers wine enthusiasts, restaurateurs, hoteliers, sommeliers, and oenologists the opportunity to taste the best wines from around the world. Alongside the Grand Tasting, numerous masterclasses led by seasoned wine experts are also held.

The dates for the 31st Vinistra have been announced

Luka Rossi, president of the Vinistra association, emphasized that this is the first time a Croatian wine region is represented at the Decanter Fine Wine Encounter.

“For over 30 years, we have been promoting indigenous varieties, and in London, our focus will be on Malvazija Istarska, Teran, and Momjan Muscat, along with their various styles. Vinistra’s participation in the Decanter Fine Wine Encounter is a continuation of our successful partnership with Decanter, with whom we organized the Decanter 2024 Winners Showcase in Croatia for the first time in June,” said the president of Vinistra, adding that the association has more activities planned for the end of the month.

From November 24 to 28, association members will travel to Bordeaux, where they will participate in the Vintech Sifel trade show at the Vinistra booth as part of a study trip.

Preparations are already underway for the 31st Vinistra, Croatia’s most anticipated wine exhibition, which will be held from May 9 to 11 in Poreč next year. Save the date!
