Decanter 2025 Winners Showcase
Decanter Winners Showcase 2025 – a premier celebration of excellence in winemaking, reserved for leading figures in the wine industry, seasoned professionals, and award-winning producers.
Taking place on July 2nd in the luxurious setting of Kempinski Hotel Adriatic in Savudrija, this exclusive event will bring together medal winners from the world’s most prestigious wine competition — the Decanter World Wine Awards 2025.
Guests will have the opportunity to taste some of the finest award-winning Croatian wines, which have received outstanding recognition this year.
Decanter returns to Croatia
The world’s most-read wine media outlet and the most influential wine competition is coming back to Croatia. Organized by Vinistra, a special event titled Decanter 2025 Winners Showcase by Vinistra will take place on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2025, at Kempinski Hotel Adriatic Istria Croatia 5* (private hotel beach), offering a unique opportunity to taste the top-awarded wines from all over Croatia. The event will be organized as a walk-around tasting, featuring up to 40 wineries (spots are limited). This exclusive event is intended only for wine professionals from the region and will not be open to the general public.
Applications are now open for exhibitors. All Croatian wineries that have won a Silver medal or above (90+ points) at Decanter World Wine Awards 2025 are eligible to apply.

The application form must be completed and submitted by June 20th, 2025 at info@vinistra.hr.
The event will be followed by a three-day press trip with Decanter journalists in Istria

Croatia in TOP 15 countries
Croatia stood out with its first Platinum medal since 2022, awarded to the sweet Benvenuti San Salvatore Muškat 2021. In total, Croatian wines won an impressive 386 medals this year – 20 more than last year!
Great news for the region on the international wine scene!
Slovenia earned the prestigious Best in Show award for its orange wine, Vinakoper Capris Orange Rumeni Muškat 2015 from Slovenska Istra – the country’s first such recognition since 2020.
Central and Eastern Europe are celebrating remarkable achievements on the global wine map.
Montenegro celebrates its first Gold medal since 2020 thanks to Plantaže Pro Corde Vranac 2021 from the Čemovsko polje vineyards.
Both Serbia and Romania delivered impressive performances, more than doubling their Gold medal count from last year – with seven and eight Golds, respectively.
These successes confirm the rising quality of wines from the region and further strengthen the reputation of Central and Eastern European winemakers on the global stage.
