With more than 10,000 visitors, guided wine tours, a cake over two meters long, and a cooking show, Vinistra once again confirmed its status as the most attractive and most visited wine event in the region.
The 32nd Vinistra has officially concluded. Over the course of three days, more than 10,000 visitors passed through the Žatika Hall in Poreč, enjoying top-quality wines, a rich gourmet program, and a wide range of activities for all generations.
For true wine lovers, as well as those just beginning their wine journey, guided tours organized by the Croatian Sommelier Club were available, while Sunday was once again dedicated to Family Day, featuring entertaining and educational workshops for the youngest visitors.
Bordeaux delegation at Vinistra
This year’s event gained a special international touch thanks to distributors and representatives of the Vinitech Sifel vineyard equipment fair from Bordeaux, one of the world’s most renowned wine regions. The guests from France were impressed by the exceptional quality of Istrian wines, as well as the outstanding atmosphere at Vinistra.
A cooking show to remember
The cooking show held on Friday and Saturday in the spacious tent in front of the hall attracted great attention from hedonists and food lovers alike. It was a place where people cooked, tasted, and enjoyed fine food. The event was the result of a collaboration between Vinistra and Barlogistic, while sweet moments after the Istrian courses were provided by Concettino from Poreč. The highlight was undoubtedly the delicious cake, over two meters long, which was shared with visitors on Saturday.
The cooking show was hosted by journalist Jadranka Nišević, who summed up the atmosphere in just a few words.
“It was a great pleasure to host the cooking show with renowned chef Antonio Brajković, where we paired wines with Istrian specialties and highlighted the champions of this year’s Vinistra that truly deserved special recognition. Vinistra is an event that best showcases the strength and quality of the Istrian wine scene because it offers the opportunity to taste so many outstanding wines and meet the people behind them all in one place. The atmosphere was fantastic, the audience wonderful, and I believe we all genuinely enjoyed ourselves together.”
