The family winery Poletti, located in Markovac near Višnjan, has been inheriting the family tradition of winemaking and viticulture since the distant year of 1842. In that year, Piero Bernobich bought land and built a house with a winery, which is now successfully managed by his descendant Peter-Piero Poletti, along with his son Matteo and family. 

The Poletti family cultivates seven hectares of vineyards planted in the deep Istrian red soil. The grape varieties include Malvazija Istarska, Chardonnay, Teran, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Muscat Rose. Over the years, they have achieved excellence with their white wines, with Malvazija Istarska standing out, presented in both fresh and aged lines. Their red wines are also highly esteemed, with outstanding results particularly noted in the aged Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, which have earned numerous domestic and international awards. 

If you wish to taste Poletti wines, you can visit the winery directly or head to the historic core of Poreč to "Casu Manzolin," an elegant bistro run by the Poletti family. Here, alongside Poletti wines, you can sample selected wines from the region and pair them with exquisite Istrian delicacies.
