Vinska kuća Pavlomir

Vinodolska dolina or the Vinodol Valley is known for its rich vineyard and winemaking tradition. 

This tradition was accepted and further developed by Miroslav Palinkaš, whose family tradition of grape growing and wine production originates from Šarengrad (Srijemsko Vinogorje).

Today, Pavlomir owns 40 hectares of land, of which 31 hectares are vineyards. In the heart of the vineyard there is a cellar, a tasting room and a shop, which many visitors enjoy.

In 2021, Pavlomir also opened a wine shop in Crikvenica.

Twenty years of work have produced varieties of wine which, according to professional evaluations, compete with the world's best wines. Palinkaš pays special attention to the local autochthonous Žlahtina variety, which he managed to bring back to Vinodol. In addition to the noble wines, other varieties of wine are also nurtured, such as: chardonnay, cabernet sauvignon, frankovka, pinot blanc, muscat.

The success of the winery is evidenced by numerous awards, such as Vinistra's gold in 2021 and 2022, and Decanter's silver and two bronzes in 2022. In the same year, the Pavlomir Winery won second place at the Annual Awards for the best Family agricultural business.
