A great location in the bay of Peškera, 60 winemakers with wines of the highest quality, great reactions from the profession and the audience and a large number of visitors marked another Vinistra

The 27th of Vinistra was successfully completed. The new location in Poreč's Peškera bay, adapted to epidemiological measures, fully met expectations. The sunny weather on all three days of the event contributed to the great atmosphere for socializing outdoors. Therefore, the response of the audience, despite all the circumstances, was enviable.

"The event went beyond all expectations. The location by the sea with a view of Poreč's old town turned out to be a hit, and we were also surprised by the great interest of the visitors. On behalf of the organizers, I would like to thank the audience and exhibitors, partners and sponsors, and the organizing team for their contribution to realization of another successful Vinistra in these demanding conditions," said Nikola Benvenuti, president of Vinistra, the association of winemakers and winegrowers of Istria.

The winemakers were also satisfied with the turnout and organization, and after a year's break, they presented wines of exceptional quality to the audience, restaurateurs and customers, both from last year's harvest and from earlier harvests. Tasting wine and Istrian delicacies was a real pleasure for the well-heeled audience, but also for experts and wine connoisseurs.

"Vinistra is a story that gets better every year. First of all, the wines are very good, which is already a constant. However, it is very important that this event has also become a social event, and its failure to hold last year caused great regret from the audience. It's great as more and more young visitors come and more and more educated in terms of knowledge of wine. I think that with all this we are reaching the level of the best Italian and Austrian wine fairs," says Emil Perdec, sommelier and corporate food and beverage manager at Plava Laguna, a long-term partner of Vinistra.

Excellent reactions and a great atmosphere showed that this prestigious wine event brought optimism and marked the beginning of the tourist season. It is a great incentive for Vinistra's new projects. We can not wait.
